The brand ‘Vision Verde’ combines ‘VISION’, meaning ‘sight, outlook’, with ‘VERDE’, representing ‘green’, encapsulating the idea of forging a bright future on the foundation of trust built over the long history of Midori Anzen. We pursue not only safety and functionality but also ‘comfort’ and ‘design’, offering a wide range of high-functioning, high-performance products suitable for various work environments. ■ uvex (products with model numbers starting with “X”)
UVEX has a history of over 90 years as a German protective eyewear manufacturer and boasts a high market share not only in Germany but also in the European market and globally. The company is highly regarded for its technological prowess, meeting the stringent German DIN standards, as well as various international standards including those from Europe, America, and Austria. In 1985, UVEX’s glasses factory was recognized as the first JIS -certified factory in Europe.
■ Lunevert (products with model numbers starting with “M”)
The origin of ‘LUNEVERT’ comes from a French compound word meaning ‘Midori’s glasses’, combining ‘LUNETTE’ which means ‘glasses’, and ‘VERT’ meaning ‘green’. We provide a wide range of protective eyewear including metal frame glasses, face-shields, and special goggles, finely catering to various workstyles and meeting diverse international standards such as JIS, ANSI, and EN. We also offer an assortment of products tailored to work environments, including prescription safety eyewear and protective glasses for visual inspection.

Impact Resistance When a steel ball with a diameter of 22mm is dropped from a height of 1.27~1.30m, the steel ball shall not penetrate and shall not be crushed into two or more pieces. The lens shall not be crashed when impacted by a steel ball of 22mm diameter and 43g or more at 5.1m/s. A steel ball with a diameter of 25.4 mm and a weight of 68g shall be dropped from a height of 127 cm and shall not break the lens, penetrate the ball, disassemble or disconnect any parts.
Scratch Resistance Surface scratch resistance ( = diffuse transmittance / total transmittance ) of 8 % or less when 400 griding material is dropped on the lens.

Impact resistance A steel ball with a diameter of 22mm is dropped from a height of 1.27 to 1.30 without the edges of the lens chipping or coming out of its frame. Impact with a steel ball of 22mm diameter steel ball of 43g or more at 5.1m/s, without crushing of the lens, penetration of the ball, disassembly or disconnection of any parts. Impact with a steel ball of 25.4mm diameter steel ball of 68g or more at 5.1m/s, without crushing of the lens, penetration of the ball, disassembly or disconnection of any parts.
Grip resistance (spectacle type) The lens shall not detach from the frame when a point 60mm from the hinge of the temple is pulled for 1 minute at a force of 2.94N. The lens shall not detach from the frame when a 1.0 kg weight is is hung from the nose piece for 1 minutes.
